Database CTC is founded on innovative object-oriented semantic data model which:

  • Ensures inherent conformity of stored data due to object-oriented data model. This model implies that value of any parameter related to any object is allocated at a single physical place. Any parameter value presence in various data representation variants is supported by appropriate reference mechanism.
  • Does not require preliminary explicit definition of all involved data set before the data bank creation.
  • Allows designer to realize any sophisticated relations scheme for heterogeneous data and add new parameters categories during data bank exploitation.
  • Unites all currently existing geological, geophysical, production and relevant information.

Data full-scale export and import

Due to use of object-oriented semantic data model CTC-EXPERT complex provides various application software packages (e.g. seismic or log data processing) with an efficient access to the whole bulk of geological, geophysical and production information stored in the data bank. Exchange of diverse information types, such as numeric data, logs, seismic profiles, text descriptions, etc., can be carried out among any standard file formats and customer's proprietary formats.


Maximum openness for maintenance

New data categories incorporation to the system, data visualization and processing techniques build-up are fulfilled during the system exploitation without any interference in existing data manipulation schemes. Imposition of new database entities' relations and addition of new display methods by no means concern already used data relations and representation forms.
